Once open ASOS Marketplace boutiques will become a hotbed of new design talent, nurturing newbies and accelerating those already on-the-grow. As LFW draws to a close we’ve rounded up our favourite picks from the new fash pack. Take a good long look, because you never know who might set up shop in the Marketplace. We start with Marketplace favourite Holly Fulton. This is Holly's first solo show, following two previous seasons with Fashion East.
Holly Fulton brought it. Rays of heady 70's summer glamour sashayed down the runway, lighting up an otherwise dull London day. Models headed down the runway like fading soap stars strutting pool side in a sun worn Palm Springs palace.
Despite an overall nod to California, deco architecture detail danced through the whole collection like the youthful Miami memories in the mind of our fictional Fulton lady. Structured bags and silk print flares kept everything just this side of 'Disco Nights'. This was certainly a lifestyle collection, even the invite demanded manicured hands open it.
Extroverted glossiness was careful not to dominate a collection with a sincere sense of humour. We'll take that white dress, a strong Tom Collins and a bit on the side, thanks Holly.
